Teaching and Learning English in Elementary School

Teaching and learning English in elementary school is interesting. Many people think that teaching English in elementary school is very difficult, but obviously it is not too difficult as we think and even it is very interesting job.

The first, the response of the students in elementary school are higher than the students in the other school like junior high school and senior high school. When we are teaching the students in elementary school, the students possibly can do many things such as, sometime they will turn their face in the other side, sometimes they will make some noise and even they will produce some bad words. But, with that thing the teacher will think how to avoid them in doing their bad activity.

In addition, the materials of English subject to teach in elementary school are not too difficult. The students in elementary school usually study just the base of subjects, like mathematic, religion subject, Indonesian language, and social subjects. So, English is not so very important for them to study because study just the second language. Then, they will study joining with play such as, the teacher will give them some game to memorize some vocabulary, give them some educational songs, and the teacher will give them so advice. So, this is very interesting in teaching and learning English in elementary school.

Finally, teaching and learning in elementary school is full cheerful. When the teachers teach in elementary school, they will find some noise that can disturb the learning process. Basically, this can be the challenge of the teachers to form the noisy class to be better or the cheerful classes. If the students are noisy and talkative, this actually chance for teacher to make some educational games, such as make them into some groups and invite them to do some activity that can support their education especially in learning English.
